The article is devoted to the consideration of modern CAD
technologies in teaching drawing geometry and engineering graphics in higher
education. The importance of AutoCAD, SolidWorks and Comp-3D programs for
graphic production, construction of projections and three-dimensional models is
analyzed. The role of digital technology in developing students' spatial thinking and
improving the quality of graphics is emphasized. Problems in the implementation of
CAD systems in the educational process and ways to overcome them are described
