This article analyzes the priority areas of modernization of drinking water supply and wastewater systems in residential areas in Uzbekistan on a scientific basis. The results of the study show that modernization of systems is not only a technical upgrade, but also helps to reduce water losses, improve service quality, and protect the environment by ensuring digital monitoring, energy efficiency, and environmental safety.
