This article highlights the methods for detecting potential defects in the casting process of bearing production. Primary attention is given to physical analysis using defectometers, mechanical methods, and microanalysis techniques. The advantages and limitations of each method are discussed. Additionally, methods for eliminating identified defects and conclusions regarding the efficiency of the selected approach are provided
