Abstract

This article analyzes methods for ensuring the stability of flying
communication networks based on unmanned aerial vehicles in emergency situations.
The main objective of the study is to assess the possibilities of rapidly deploying
communication networks when the existing telecommunications infrastructure is
limited, damaged, or completely unavailable. The architecture of FANETs and flying
sensor networks, inter-node communication, radio coverage, network topology
changes, and factors affecting network stability are considered. The analysis shows
that the use of multiple unmanned aerial vehicles is a promising solution for extending
radio coverage, improving data transmission capabilities, and establishing temporary
communication infrastructure in emergency situations. At the same time, high node
mobility, unstable communication links, and frequent route changes remain
significant challenges in ensuring stable network operation.
