This scientific article provides a comprehensive analysis of the
theoretical and practical foundations of international economic blocs, their formation,
stages of development, and their role in today‘s global economy. Within the

framework of the article, key economic blocs such as the World Trade Organization,
Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, European Union, Eurasian Economic Union,
BRICS, and G7 are thoroughly studied, with special attention to Uzbekistan‘s
participation or non-participation in these blocs. The article also reveals the
significance and prospects of international economic integration for Uzbekistan based
on both theoretical and empirical analysis.
