The reliable operation of pump units is crucial for modern industrial enterprises, irrigation systems, and municipal utilities. Unexpected failures of electric drive systems can halt production processes and lead to significant economic losses. The article examines modern methods for diagnosing pump-motor systems based on spectral analysis of vibration signals and motor current signatures. The application of advanced methods such as Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), wavelet analysis, and Motor Current Signature Analysis (MCSA) is discussed. Within the scope of the research, experimental work was conducted to identify bearing defects, misalignment, imbalance, and other mechanical faults in centrifugal pump units widely used in Uzbekistan’s conditions.
